TERRA NOVA (2012)

is a collaboration with artist Harald den Breejen at Kunsthuis SYB in the summer of 2012. During our residency at SYB we restaged the Terra Nova expedition made in 1914 by Sir Robert Scott. The goal of our expedition was to reach the middle of the Waddensea instead of the South Pole. Like Scott we man-hauled an arctic sled through Friesland to reach this middle point.

- This project was made possible with the generous support of Kunsthuis SYB and with the help of Peter Bloem.
