[LE CHOEUR] Conduis ta barque avec prudence, Le roi des mers ne t'échappera pas! (2012-2013)
is a video installation that combines audio clips from the opera The Dumb Girl of Portici (1828) with images and text about the Hertogin Hedwigepolder in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen.
In the installation five still-images from Google Streetview are projected onto a fragmented screen. These images are accompanied with field-recordings of The Dumb Girl of Portici made in the Hedwigepolder. Upon entering the installation the visitor receives a booklet with the argument to read alongside the video.
