Daniël Kinet, The First Aviator to Reach Utrøst (2011)
is a performance/presentation that looks back on the last flights Daniël Kinet made above Ghent with his biplane. The audience faces a screen showing digital images of an illegal dump interrupted with captions showing times. Next to the audience the pipe-smoking narrator/artist gives background information on the last flights of Kinet in 1910 which is interwoven with the history of the outskirts of Ghent.
